As fall rolls into winter, a performer’s biggest fear becomes cold and flu season. Being in close such quarters with so many other people on a day to day basis means someone is bound to get sick, and it's my turn. So rather than desperately trying everything in the book and hoping something will work, I spent today digging into the scientific research behind cold and flu prevention advice.
There is so much to cover in this first-week-of-classes post, that I honestly don’t know where to begin. It’s been such a whirlwind of a week, between moving on Monday, meeting my class and coaches, going through a week of intensive training for 8 ½ hours a day, and then ending with the Fringe Festival.
